\r\n (Finding Hope After a Season of Grief)\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n Written by one who knew the weight of sorrow,
\r\n who waited through long nights of grief,
\r\n and who found hope in Scripture\u2019s pictures of morning.\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n \u201cWeeping may come in the evening to lodge, but in the morning, there is a joyful cry.\u201d\r\n <\/p>\r\n

\r\n \u2014 Psalm 30:5<\/strong>\r\n <\/p><\/div>\r\n \r\n

\r\n Scripture gives mourners reason to believe that sorrow does not have to be the final chapter.\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n It gives grief its own language,
\r\n while still leaving room for morning.

\r\n \u2014 Psalm 30:5<\/strong>\r\n <\/p>\r\n David\u2019s words place weeping and joy

\r\n The night is real,
\r\n but it is not presented as the whole story.

\r\n Scripture also speaks directly
\r\n to people whose hearts have already been broken.
\r\n

\r\n Mourning can also make time feel strange.
\r\n One day may seem much like the one before it.
\r\n Yet Lamentations was written from within devastation,
\r\n and still it found language for hope.
\r\n

\r\n \u201cIt is because of Jehovah\u2019s loyal love that we have not come to our finish,
\r\n for his mercies never end.
\r\n They are new each morning;
\r\n your faithfulness is abundant.\u201d
\r\n \u2014 Lamentations 3:22\u201323<\/strong>\r\n <\/p>\r\n These words were not written
\r\n from an easy or painless moment.
\r\n They came from within grief,
\r\n which makes their hope more meaningful,
\r\n not less.

\r\n Scripture also makes room
\r\n for waiting that does not resolve overnight.
\r\n

\r\n \u201cIt is good to wait in silence
\r\n for the salvation of Jehovah.\u201d
\r\n \u2014 Lamentations 3:26<\/strong>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Waiting is not always passive.
\r\n Sometimes it means continuing
\r\n when healing is slower than we hoped.
\r\n Sometimes it means allowing grief to have its season
\r\n without declaring that the season will last forever.

\r\n Mourning does not have to be rushed.
\r\n Healing does not have to follow someone else\u2019s timetable.
\r\n Scripture gives space for sorrow,
\r\n while still giving us reasons to leave room for hope.

\r\n The morning image is powerful
\r\n because morning does not deny that night existed.
\r\n It simply reminds us that darkness is not permanent.
\r\n A new day can begin quietly,
\r\n one small light at a time.

\r\n So if you are still grieving,
\r\n do not condemn yourself for needing time.
\r\n If today feels heavy,
\r\n take today as it comes.
\r\n Notice what is still good.
\r\n Accept comfort when it is offered.
\r\n Pray honestly.
\r\n Rest when you need to.
\r\n And allow hope to return at its own pace.

\r\n Let this reflection leave you with something gentle to hold:
\r\n grief is real,
\r\n healing can be slow,
\r\n and Scripture still leaves room for morning after mourning.<\/div>\r\n \r\n

They show that sorrow is real, that brokenhearted people are acknowledged, and that hope can still exist alongside pain. These reflections are meant to help you hold both truths without forcing yourself to feel better before you are ready.\r\n <\/p>\r\n
