\r\n THE SCROLL OF LIGHT IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR\r\n <\/h2>\r\n

\r\n (Finding Hope When Night Feels Endless)\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n

\r\n Written by one who searched for morning,
\r\n who prayed when the world was silent,
\r\n and who found comfort in the promises of Scripture.\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n
\r\n

\r\n \u201cThough I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.\u201d\r\n <\/p>\r\n

\r\n \u2014 Psalm 138:7<\/strong>\r\n <\/p><\/div>\r\n \r\n

\r\n

\r\n Scripture gives reason for hope even when the night feels deepest.\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n When midnight comes and hope feels far,
\r\n remember what Scripture says:
\r\n Jehovah has not asked His servants to face trouble without hope.
\r\n Even in the loneliest hour,
\r\n His written promise gives reassurance:
\r\n

\r\n \u201cI will never leave you, and I will never abandon you.\u201d
\r\n \u2014 Hebrews 13:5<\/strong>\r\n <\/p>\r\n

\r\n \u201cBy day Jehovah will grant his loyal love,
\r\n and by night his song will be with me.\u201d
\r\n \u2014 Psalm 42:8<\/strong>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Some nights, tears seem to become prayers.
\r\n Some prayers may have few words at all.
\r\n Scripture reminds us that Jehovah understands those who call on him,
\r\n even when distress makes words difficult to find.

\r\n Light does not always seem to break through at once.
\r\n Sometimes hope returns quietly:
\r\n through a remembered kindness,
\r\n the presence of someone who cares,
\r\n or a passage of Scripture that speaks differently in a difficult hour.
\r\n

\r\n \u201cThe people sitting in darkness saw a great light,
\r\n and as for those sitting in a region of deathly shadow, light rose on them.\u201d
\r\n \u2014 Matthew 4:16<\/strong>\r\n <\/p>\r\n If tonight feels endless,
\r\n remember that darkness is not the whole story Scripture tells.
\r\n Morning has followed many nights before this one,
\r\n and the God whom Scripture describes as the Maker of heaven and earth
\r\n remains worthy of trust when we cannot yet see what morning will bring.

\r\n So let this reflection leave you with this hope:
\r\n your darkest hour does not place you beyond Jehovah\u2019s care.
\r\n Your tears matter.
\r\n Your prayers may be brought before him.
\r\n This moment does not have to define the rest of your story.
\r\n Hold to the hope Scripture gives,
\r\n one hour and one step at a time.<\/div>\r\n \r\n

\r\n Even in the midnight hour, Scripture gives us reason to keep looking toward the light.\r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n

\r\n

\r\n Personal Reflection: An Invitation to Healing\r\n <\/h3>\r\n

\r\n Comfort does not always remove pain immediately. Sometimes it helps us take the next small step while the pain is still present. The suggestions below are not formulas or guarantees. They are simple ways a person may seek comfort, remember Scripture, and avoid carrying a difficult night entirely alone.\r\n <\/p>\r\n

\r\n
\r\n \u2022 Speak a prayer\u2014even if it is only a whisper.<\/strong>
\r\n Psalm 142:1\u20132 \u2014<\/strong>\r\n \u201cWith my voice I call to Jehovah for help; with my voice I plead with Jehovah for favor. Before him I pour out my concern; before him I tell about my distress.\u201d<\/em>
\r\n Reflexi\u00f3n:<\/strong> You do not need polished words. Scripture shows faithful people speaking openly to Jehovah about their distress.\r\n
\r\n \u2022 Keep a comforting passage of Scripture nearby.<\/strong>
\r\n Isaiah 41:10 \u2014<\/strong>\r\n \u201cDo not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God.\u201d<\/em>
\r\n Reflexi\u00f3n:<\/strong> Returning to a passage like this can help redirect the mind toward what Scripture says when fear begins speaking louder than hope.\r\n
\r\n \u2022 Reach out to someone you trust\u2014even with a short message.<\/strong>
\r\n Proverbs 17:17 \u2014<\/strong>\r\n \u201cA true friend shows love at all times and is a brother who is born for times of distress.\u201d<\/em>
\r\n Reflexi\u00f3n:<\/strong> Difficult nights do not always have to be carried alone. A trusted friend, family member, shepherd, counselor, or other supportive person may help bear some of the weight.\r\n
\r\n \u2022 Reflection Prompt:<\/strong>\r\n \u201cTonight, what is one small step I can take\u2014a prayer, a Scripture, a message, or simply asking someone to stay near while the night passes?\u201d<\/div>\r\n
